When did you get into the sport?
I got into Surf Life Saving when i was about 6-7, I started off as a nipper and used to love racing and being around the ocean. Ever since then I have been competing and working my wat up to where i am now.
What is your greatest achievement?
I think my greatest achivement was when I won the GB U16 board race in Falmouth 2010, along with this achivement was when I won the board, ski and ironman in the Welsh championships
What are your goals for this year?
My goals for this season are to be the best board paddler in my age group and be a strong and fit competitor in the ironman events

What is your favourite pre-race food?
before a race I normaly have a high carbs breaky such as beans and cheese on toast in order to get my energy levels up and prepare me for race day!
Do you have a pre-race ritual?
I normaly have a day or two realxing making sure I am the top of my fitness and ready, I make sure all my craft and kit is ready and in good condition, I finish off with anearl night and get up in plenty of time to prepare myself
Who is your coach?
Dad as he is always there for me taking me to different training sessions and givving me different tips and tricks in order to get me to the peak, another one of my coaches is Craig Robinson as he always provides traing session and pushes you to the limit
How many times a week do you train?
I normally train about 7 times a week with different sessions such as gym and swim work and paddling sessions

It would probably be getting gold at the cornish board in my first junior competition, then medalling at nationals the same year. Also finishing 4th in the national iron women last year.

My goals would be to medal in board,ski,iron and swim at cornish, also board,ski and iron at nationals.

Ive made a few GB teams for different events, Welsh Ironman Champion 2008, 3rd National Ironman 2009!

Cause some upsets and surprises. Have better results than last year. Take out legacy superteams with team lightening!

I enjoy them all especially when theres a wave running! Despise running though!

Eat as much as possible for the two days leading up to the race, The rat and I normally have sausadge sandwiches in the morning!

Throw the banter around as much as possible, normally aimed at Robinson, but as he's my captain this year that may have to change!

Get my exercise in uni from drilling, filling and pulling teeth (all in the shoulders!), but hitting the pool 4 times a week, and coaching ski on Sundays mornings while trying to have a blast myself! Hope to up it to everyday in the summer!
