SERIES UPDATE!

With all sponsors confirmed and 99 percent of team members signed up and raring to go the format for this years races is as follows:

The Wildcard entries in 2010 will sponsored by Island Tribe sunscreens.

Race 1 Saturday 19th June Goldcoast Oceanfest Croyde Beach. 10am Registration 11am Start.
3 sprint Oceanperson races with the order changing each time. Each race will count to the days points aggregate and the team scores. However the twist will be the M shaped course for only 1 leg, allowing discipline specialists to gain an advantage in each race!!

Race 2 Woolacombe Beach Saturday 17th July. 5pm Registration first race 6pm. This event will see 4 groups of athletes (Elite M/W and U18M/U16 W) racing over Run, Swim, Board and Ski events and accumulating points for themselves and their teams. The bad news is that there is only 2 minutes recovery time from the first person back in each group!! How painful can it get?

Race 3 Sunday 15th August Falmouth as part of the GB ranking event. 2pm Registration 3pm start.
The Eliminator- The Men and Women will be in 2 field and will race over individual disciplines with a race on race off format. Each time 4 athletes will be cut from the back of the field. When the last 8 are formed there will be a final contested with a game of Beach Flags!! Should be one to watch !!

Race 4 Saturday 28th August Aberavon. Times to be confirmed.
There will be 2 standard Ocean person races for all individuals, followed by a 6 person Taplin and 2 Board rescue pairs nominated from each team. The twist is you can not do both! The event will then be concluded with another Oceanperson race to conclude the series.

All prize money will be given out that day .
