Humble and Hedger set the Pace! - 26/05/10

The first GB rankings were definatly an early season form guide of what is to be expected in this years Super Teams competition 2010.

Dan Humble was again unbeaten on the ski and board whilst youngster Freddie Hedger from Woolcombe looks set to challenge for senior honours this year taking out the open Mens Surf Race.

After an embarrasing exit from Goldcoast 2009 for Hedger where his zip broke on the Snugg suit and he realised electing for no speedos was a mistake!!, the U18 favourite is sure to set the pace in next months opener!

Humble however will be looking to make it 3 Goldcoast titles in a row! After an impressive winter down under he looks stroinger than ever and will be very hard to beat. I am sure Robbie Sandbach, Garod Thomas et al will be chasing hard trying to break his winning run.

Notable performances in the womens competitions were Lana Evans and Grace Clark in the Surf race and the in form Ellie Parker in the Open Ocean Person.
